Doi Inthanon National Park has the area covers the area of Chom Thong District, Mae Chaem District, Mae Wang District and Doi Lor District, Chiang Mai Province It has the area of approximately 482 square kilometers or approximately 119,203 acres. The general geography will consist of complex high mountains. There is Doi Inthanon that is the highest peak, 2,565 meters above sea level For the characteristic of the weather, generally, this will have the cool weather throughout of the year. This will have high humidity. The highest temperature will be approximately 22 degrees Celsius. The lowest temperature will be approximately at -8 degrees Celsius. The average temperature will be approximately 12 degrees Celsius. Although this is the highest peak in Thailand. But tourists can go to travel at this place conveniently and this has the good road condition for all of routes. Tourists can travel to this place in every season. For the traveling to Doi Inthanon will start from Muang Chiang Mai District. Tourists will take the highway No. 108, Muang Chiang Mai District – Chom Thong District. When tourists come to Chom Thong District, tourists have to turn right onto highway No. 1009. Tourists can drive further to the other 48 kms to Doi Inthanon Peak. For tourists traveling in Doi Inthanon National Park, this will have the entrance fee to visit this National Park is as follows; the Adult 300 Thai baht. The Children150 Thai baht. The car 50 Thai baht. The motorcycle 20 Thai baht. The opening hours will be from 05:00am to 06:00pm every day. The Royal Agricultural Station Inthanon:
The royal agricultural station Inthanon is the research station for winter plants that is one of several royal projects. This station will have the main duty in developing and researching vegetables and various kinds of winter flowers in order to build the career and the revenue for minorities who have lived in this area. Currently, the royal agricultural station Inthanon is the tourist attraction that is very popular. Because there is the wide area for visiting the beauty of ornamental plants and this will have restaurants including shops distributing vegetables, fruits including other products of the royal project to let tourists to select to buy in many amount. The royal agricultural station Inthanon is located in Khun Klang Village, Huay Luang Sub-District. For travelling, tourists can drive along the route up to Doi Inthanon to the area of Kilometer, mark No. 31 of the highway No. 1009. This will have the crossroad on the right side to the station for the other approximately 1 km.

Royal Pagodas:
Phramahathat Napamathanidol and Phramahathat Napaphol Bhumisiri is the important tourist attraction of Chiang Mai Province. The great holy relics pagoda is on 2 peaks in the nearby area. Mae Klang Waterfall:
Mae Klang Waterfall, this is the large size waterfall which is located in the area of Doi Inthanon National Park, Ban Luang Sub-District, Chom Thong District. It is one of the most famous and beautiful waterfalls in Chiang Mai Province, and this is the first tourist spot to enter Doi Inthanon National Park. With the cool river, that falls and passes through the large size cliff, which has the height approximately at 100 m. This cool river will flow to the below large size puddle and in the time period of the flood water, this may be the time period which will have the most violent waterfall. Tourists will have to be careful and shall have to listen to warnings from park staff for safety.

Mae Ya Waterfall:
Mae Ya Waterfall is located in Doi Inthanon National Park; this is named as the most beautiful waterfall as the one first rank in Thailand. This is a large, beautiful and tallest waterfall in the area of Doi Inthanon National Park, with the height approximately at 260 m and this has the descending layer approximately of 30 layers. In the rainy season, the waterfall will be spread widely to 100 m liked the water curtain, and then this will flow to go down together at the below puddle. This looks very beautiful.

Wachirathan Waterfall:
Wachirathan Waterfall is the other one of the beautiful waterfalls in Doi Inthanon National Park. Many tourists are impressed when they come to visit, with the way that this is the large size waterfall which will give the emotional elegance in the other one form. Because this is the waterfall which flows from the height of 70 m until this became the powerful and exciting waterfall curtain. Until this can touch the disperse water spray that is spread throughout this waterfall. On the day that the weather conditions are suitable, this will have the small rainbow line which will cross over to the waterfall body to allow tourists to see it also.

Siriphum Waterfall:
Siriphum Waterfall is the other beautiful waterfall which is located between the way up to the Doi Inthanon Peak. Siriphum Waterfall is a waterfall of two streams which will flow along to fall down from the high cliff in the middle of the forest. This can be seen in the long distance from the road that ascends to Doi Inthanon and if tourists would like to walk to survey the surrounding area of the waterfall. This place has the short term natural study path for you to use the service and this is the easy route for walking, during of the footpath, tourists will see the ancient forest fern and various species of big trees.

Kew Mae Pan Nature Trail:
Kew Mae Pan Nature Trail, which is a short circular walking path of about 3 kilometers at an altitude of about 2,000 meters above sea level. This will have the comfort of cool weather throughout the year. Kew Mae Pan is held as the view point of the sunrise and the beautiful sea fog as the one point of Doi Inthanon. The path will have both passing into the rain forest which will have the shady atmosphere. This will have the sunlight to shine down just dimly along the area which is covered by mosses including the forest fern and various kinds of plants, until this will go to the route on the ridge that will have the view point. This is the large open meadow. This will have the beautiful wide spectacular view, tourists will touch with the soft blowing wind, the fog will be floated slowly, the sunlight will be refulgent, and this will cut with the gold color of the grass which will have the very beautiful picture. This path will take the time traveling for approximately 2-3 hours. Kew Mae Pan path will be open for tourists to enter to visit from November 1 to May 31 only. After that, this place will be closed to let nature to revive itself, and will come back to open again in the next year.

Pha Dok Siew Nature Trail:
Pha Dok Siew Nature Trail, which has a hiking trail of approximately 3 kilometers, for throughout of the hiking trail, besides, tourists will touch closely with the abundant nature, various kinds of plants and tourist can admire the beauty of Pha Dok Siew Waterfall, tourists will also enjoy the beauty of the terraced rice fields in the valley at Mae Klang Luang village including tasting the original Arabica coffee that is cultivated naturally here that villagers have prepared to welcome to tourists, and tourists can walk to survey Mae Klang Luang village for learning the culture of the Karen hill tribe way which will have the simple lifestyle among the pure and beautiful nature.

Ang Ka Nature Trail:
Ang Ka natural study path is the tourist attraction that is full with various kinds of plants. Within this wood bridge, tourists can walk for the distance of approximately 300 m. This will take the traveling time approximately 30-40 minutes. Although this is the short path, this is hidden with the beauty mixing with the puzzle. This will give the rainforest a feeling. The weather is comfortable and cool; the ecology of Ang Ka is the ecology that isn’t liked any place. Due to this place is on the height place at 2,500 m from the sea level. This will have the floods throughout the year. This will have the fog covering it all the time. The average temperature will be 12 degrees Celsius. This will have high humidity. For plants in this area, this will have plants that are difficult to see; such as; Bryopsida, Rhododendron. On the big tree this will be covered with mosses, ferns until this is difficult to find the vacant along branches, besides, this will have birds, more than 100 species including birds that have emigrated from Himalayas because that Doi Inthanon is held as the end part area of Himalayas. This will make Ang Ka to become the one bird watching site of the bird watcher.

Baan Mae Klang Luang:
Mae Klang Luang village is the another one popular tourist attraction of Chiang Mai; this place is located in Doi Inthanon National Park among the valley and this place is surrounded with the abundant forest. Tourists will touch with the cultural lifestyle of the Karen hill tribe; taste the great taste, fresh organic coffee, admire the unspeakably beautiful view of the terraced rice fields. Besides, Mae Klang Luang Village will be the beautiful natural study path and this will still have the abundance of the natural environment. Along the way, tourists will see various kinds of plants, and if tourists would like to stay overnight at the village, this will have various kinds of residences for servicing tourists. Doi Inthanon Hill Tribe Market:
This place is located on the way to Doi Inthanon. This isn’t far from The Royal Agricultural Station Inthanon. This hill tribe market will have various local products for tourists to select to buy. No matter what of fresh vegetables, various kinds of winter fruits. This is the productivity that hill tribes have cultivated and have brought to sell to each other. Besides, this will have clothes, decorations, and other interesting appliances from many more hill tribes.

Ban Pa Bong Piang:
Ban Pa Bong Piang is located in Chang Keng Sub-District, Mae Chaem District; this is the village that is surrounded by the beautiful terraced rice fields. This is the majestic place which will cover the surrounding mountains; this is the another tourist attraction that is popular to attract tourists who like to gather the beautiful view of the mountain, the forest and the view of the terraced rice fields. For traveling to Ban Pa Bong Piang, this will use the one path with the path to Doi Inthanon National Park. This will start from traveling from Muang Chiang Mai District by using the highway No. 108, Mueang Chiang Mai – Chom Thong District, when tourists have come to Chom Thong District, tourists will have to turn right to the highway No. 1009 before this will go to Doi Inthanon. Tourists will have to turn left onto highway No. 1192 to Mae Chaem District and Ban Pa Bong Piang.
